RACE HORSE HAINES made front 
page news in Texas when the infamous 
criminal defense attorney agreed to 
represent and defend Pacheco against a hostile District Attoney, Sheriff's Office and 
Grand Jury's criminal charges levied against Pacheco outside of Waco, Texas.  
Mission accomplished. According to Haines, 
the last lynching in Texas took place 
outside the very jail Pacheco was fighting 
to stay out of.
